Them look great! They will get er done !

I caught a nice mess of crappie several nights ago, but was disappointed that tube jigs were out doing my hand tied jigs. I decided to fight fire with fire and make some that looked like the tubes that were working the best.
For grins, I’ve made a couple of hybrid jigs from a disassembled skirt. Heading out tonight to give them a try...

I've stopped using plastics all together since I started tying my own and catching crappie on them.

Would love to hear your results for sure! Jigs look fine. Also I have some jigs I used years ago that have a short elastic kind of material like silicone. I will take a picture of one and post later of it, but the thing is really short and has a Chrome head, maybe an inch long? Was killer so maybe I need to go back and try that and make a few using my Marabou tips I have been saving for years, lol!

Them are kool, I do the same thing, copy the plastic colors.

No real comparison results yet... fish didn’t want anything to do with jigs the other night, not even the tube jig that worked so well just a few nights before - scratch head
Your jigs look great, they will work. I only use hand ties now. I tip with nibbles. I don't feel like I missed a beat.
