Default What a cold last day of fishing

Wel leave tomorrow in the am. Will be stopping at a lifelong friends how to get some fresh grass fed ground beef to bring home. High today was 52 degrees and rain. Rain stopped at 330pm and decided to hit the local lake one last time. Pukked up and saw a gentlemen fishing from pier, decided to ask him if he wanted to fish with me for a few hours as i was alone. Walked up and he was talking to two dnr officers. We had a good conversation and appreciative i was bringing the gentlemen fishing. They also told me he was a ww2 vet. We had a great time, boated 20 or so walleyes, 10 keepers we split half and half. He said he didnt think we would catching anything in the weather and was happy for the walleye dinner. Texted his family this photo of this 22" walleyes we released to his family member. They liked the photo.

Tim, I thought you were just a good crappie fisherman, but looks like you can catch anything. Great story.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
