    Great report Tim and my hat off to you for asking him to go with you. Most young guys doesn't understand that one day they may be lucky and live to grow old.

    ron staying in crawfordsville indiana, will be home tomorrow evening, we are over halfway there. Couldnt have timed my departure better, highs in the 50's time to go

    Actually i call myself a walleye fisherman, only been crappie fishing a year, but like any fish, all you need is one year to learn the seasonal patterns then learn the lake. Minnesota is challenging as you can only have one line per licensed angler in the water, its tough boating alot of walleyes with one or two lines.

    i always try to bring folks out if i am fishing alone, was surprised to see him shore fishing given the cold rain, i had to bring him fishing, i wouldve been discourage but he was determined to catch fish, figured i would help him with that. It was the second day of the cold front so was confident they were biting, the first day of a cold fron the fish wont bite up there.
