Took a good friend to High Rock today. Due to health issues, he hasn't been able to fish with me for quite some time. He actually told me he was out of fish in his freezer. We remedied that in short order. We got started about 8:30 and it was fast and furious, every jig got bit almost immediately when it got to the 8ft mark. The culling began at 8 inchers and we were putting 9 1/2 inchers back by 11:00. We didn't count but I'm certain we caught over 200, maybe even 250. At the end of the trip, around 3:30, we had 78 in the livewell.
All were caught around deep docks with 1/32 oz jigs.Attachment 275319

Were you trolling? Any tips for high rock? I've fished the goodman lake side of high rock and have done well in the past. I appreciate any info you can give me.
JM, we were single pole jigging the shady areas around docks. Docks with pontoons tied to them were really good! Every single dock that was at least 10 feet deep had fish on it. Lots of hits on the falling jigs. (watch your line)

great job guys! you kept 78? what is the limit there? wow, that is a lot of crappie to clean.
High rock has no limit at the moment.
