Stiffest rod I have used has been Crappie max titeline specials. I dont know if they come in 8 ft tho.

I currently pull cranks with two 16', two 12', and two 8' poles as well as push with two 14' poles. All are good except the 8' PSTs. They are way too limber. I accually think they're built on a spinning rod blank. What is a good, fairly stiff pole for pulling cranks?

mac crappie LIKED above post
They don't come in an eight, eight is hard to come by, part of the reason I went to 18, 14, 10 and 6

I've got some of the 12' and 11' Tightline Specials. They're stiff as a broomstick. Lol Great for crankin though.

What seems to be the best 16'er? I have been thinking about getting a couple for pulling 14' is as high as I go now.
I use the cheaper B&M West Point Crappie poles in 8 ft. they work ok for me.
I use the B&M PSTs in the 16' . So far they've done good.
