I was referring to my personal experience alone. If I had a boat and was out on the water I'm sure I would meet nice folks too. The "honey hole" talk .. I mean not a lot of people feel the kindness to share good spots where they are biting like they did growing up. People are sooooo protective over spots that is public, and really don't care if you eat or not. I don't mind sharing spots, but that's just me. This is my personal experience, but when I ask people and they tell me a spot, it is a dead spot 9 out 10. So I search Google Earth Pro and I use the back scale history to find structures. I was simply trying to help him out. The truth hurts sometimes. Best of luck to you, Paul.

Okay. Best bet that I know of personally and people are telling me where we fish, which is Guntersville, is 10-15 ft in 20-30 ft of water. We mainly fish at night because by 8am it is 90 degrees. I also have FB friends who live on Guntersville telling me they go at night from the banks under the bridges (69,431 and 227) and are catching Crappie 10-15 ft with minnows. A lot of success you may also get is to use a pink head with a monkey milk or pearl color baby shad. But you can look for brush or try the bridges. I had a few nice recent catches in Guntersville at 10ft sitting in 30 ft of water using minnows. As for Montgomery ... I don't fish the AL River. But if you look on fishidy's web app, you can see where people are posting spots and catches around Montgomery.

    Good luck.
