Default Mounting spyder lok rod holders

I'm considering purchasing the spyder lok rod holder kit for my 14' Jon boat. However, I'm curious about a method for fastening the base plate to the aluminum without washing out the hole. If anybody has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it.

What kind of boat is it? Does it have the lock system in the rail?

Check out Jacknuts on eBay. The tool and enough to do your job are just a few bucks and they work great.

Well I do have those I but aluminum is just so malleable I'm afraid it will loosen over time because the hole will waller out.
