I just want to give thanks to Crappie Dave for sharing his info, techniques and location. I know many here do the same, but many others fear that their "secret" spot may be taken over or fished out. Many times we see the pictures of the haul, but some won't even tell you what part of the state they're caught. For the guys that don't get a chance to fish but maybe once every 6 to 8 weeks, this is a huge help.
Thanks Sir. There are plenty for all and there is nothing like passing on the Joy of fishing and seeing someone else learn and have success. I mean someday you will be gone. You can't take it with you... A wiser Man than me once said : They may not remember what you said or did... But the legacy you leave in sharing how you made someone feel while doing it is whats remembered.
I'm not sure CD gave out his "secret spot" so much as a general area. There are numerous twists and bends in the Little Maumelle and "deeper water" is in a lot of places. I catch a few here and there on Lake Conway in the cypress trees in 6/8 feet of water, but I am not sure it is going to get fished out because of that info
. Good luck.

Once again, you misinterpreted my post IB.
The "secret" spot quote, was to emphasize the mentality of a few here. A spot can be an area, an entire lake, individual brush pile or even a "big" or "little" creek which Dave was generous enough to clarify for you.
I didn't see Dave post any coords or give any specific location info, but he did say where he was and was pretty descriptive about how he caught them and that's why I offered thanks to him.
Very nice job man!!!!
