    Default Up "The Creek"

Slipped out last Saturday up "The Creek" and Found some Stragglers right before the rain showers hit in the early AM. All 12 keepers caught in less than an hour. Then had to leave out for Fathers Day Lunch date later. They liked the Bobbie Garland offering tipped with nuggets. They were on my "Bus Stop" logs... positioned right on an outside creek bend in 83 degree water 3' deep in 8 f.o.w. I left a bunch there... and if I don't get back out soon...they will be long gone.

This "Bus Stop" log location is a transition point between spawn areas and deep water summer hangout. It is the last stop of the post spawners that were about to move on out into deeper waters so I've learned over the years.

Great looking fish and sweet Ranger. I'm playing hookie tomorrow and trying to decide on Brewer or Dardanelle. Your "creek" area is intriguing though...

Way to go , summer time patterns should on as most lakes the water temp is about 80 or more on the surface , Catfish spawning time .

For me....I learn every time I go out. I purposely try to figure out a pattern. Something new every time. Not always the same. But taking notes and keeping a log helps along with good equipment. Electronics are key.
