There are variations. Usually 2 or 3 ounce weight at the bottom ,around 3-4 foot up a 3-way,and 3-4 foot of line to the crank.Everything depends on water depth you are trying to fish.

Thinking of starting to experiment with pushing crankbaits. Was wandering about how is best to rig them for pushing, Ky. rig style with weight in the middle, weight on bottom? How much weight to use? One crank per line or two? Just curious how to start doing this.

I run Bandit 100 series or other brands shallow runners. You will put too much load on any pole trying to run deep diver cranks pushing. I even run rattle traps at times.

I run 300s alll the time pushing....work good. And rattle traps work great even the larger size ones. Been running some Pico Perch lipless crankbaits lately.
