I don't understand why it can't be common practice for bow fishermen to shoot, take a picture, and dump the carcass right back into the drink. Leaving them around the ramp area or in the dumpsters is just not cool at all.

To all, this is getting pretty intense. So, here's my two sense worth.
1. IT is a shame that some bow fisherman leave dead fish at a ramp or floating in the lake. I bet these guys are the 10% offenders. The other 90% keep what they shoot or dispose of them properly.
2. The statement that the gut hooked/gill hooked fish that are released to the lake may be true, but if it doesn't have a size limit most fisherman put them on ice and clean them.
3. We ALL need to keep an eye out for abuse for whatever is going on at the lakes, I DID not report abuse of the rules I saw for years, just ignored stuff I knew was wrong, but lately I have contacted DNR when I saw a bad abuse of our fishing rules and they arrested, confiscated stuff for their actions.
4. 95% of the fisherman on the lakes are very good people and abide by the rules. We all need to take the time and effort to get the other 5% in trouble/reported if we can.

Buffalo ribs is my mother in laws favorite. She would take them over any other fish.
