    Default Another long lining question......

I read where the 1/32 and 1/16 oz. road runner heads were the most popular sizes. The hooks on these are awfully small, and when you rig a solid body jig on them, there is very little hook area exposed. Thoughts?

Some of my rubber body hair jigs has what I call small hooks and never had a problem but you can get a hold of light wire Hooker on here ( Curtis Hobbs ) he can make you some with what ever size you would like.

I make mine like this. 1/32&1/16 both have #2 , 1/8 has 1/0, 1/4 has 2/0. I use all sickle hooks. Matzuo and eagle claw sickles.

The 1/32 has a #6 hook and the 1/16 has a #4 hook on the road runners.

Sounds good, Dee. I dont pour jigs. Im talking about the ready made Blakemore road runner. Their hooks ate too small on those sizes.
