    Default Rubber

Trying to send a small care package of black/chrt jigs to a buddy.
Never tied any rubber before, so I gave it a shot last night. I think they might work. Maybe?

I have not fished any runner tails other than spinner baits, but have tied some and was told they hold their profile better and caught fish!

    Looks good!

    They will work quite well.
I have been using using rubber hackle for most of my KISS bugs and tail ties.

When you say rubber, are you using real rubber or silicone skirt material? I tried real rubber but didn't like it because stored in a box it deteriates and sticks together pretty quick. I tie all my thread necks with silicone skirt material like is used in spinner bait skirts.
Those sure look good and would sure catch a bunch of big fish up here.

I'm guilty of calling it rubber also. I use silicone that comes in a 20 or 22 strip tab. I have some round rubber but never used it.

    Default Rubber

Thx everyone! Still not happy with the "rubber" work. I think they'd be better not flared out as much., being less stationary. I'll practice more when time allows

Not like yours, but imma work on it.
Think I can do better on the bigger hooks I use.
Yours look perfect to me. Any tips?
    Thx bro

"Silly legs" is what the bags say.
If YOU say they look good, I appreciate that bc I know what kind of fisherman you are. Thank you.

It's become a large task to tie much of anything, much less anything I'd want to send anyone. So I'm trying. Last two weeks has been tying under house after dark in a termite swarm but almost done with a few.
