Fishing Wednesday

Fished this morning. Kept a mess for the house to eat (me and the wife) but let the rest go. Caught a limit of 30 fish by 10 AM. Sorry.....no pictures. Largest was only filleting size and only needed a half dozen or so.

Man it was a good day for fishing weather wise. I have a standing appointment on Wednesday mornings so I can't get loose before 10 so I ended up playing a round of golf with some friends. We played a course north of Columbia and they had a good size pond on the back side that had the dark tannic stained water and sandy bottom. I was not playing all that well and had I had a spinning rod and a Beetle Spin I would have bailed on the golf and worked that pond over. It was probably 10-15 acres, I can never judge pond size but it was large enough to be interesting. I meant to ask if the allowed fishing there but I forgot. We don't on our course so they probably don't either/
