Fish-D-Funk makes a cleaner for live wells that will work great for your minner bucket.

Dawn dish washing detergent, a good rinse and let it dry. Did it Friday night after mine started dieing.
None lost the rest of the weekend.
I use a 32 quart Coleman cooler that I punched a hole in the top of the main part of the cooler for the air line and used a big flat head screw driver to punch another one to have a place to hang my aerator

Knightshadow, I intend to wire this one in and find a way to store the lines so they are out of the way when I'm not using them. Center console is a great but with everything generating from the middle it can be hard to run tubing to different places... My big bait tank sits right next to the console, so no problem there. But, the minnow bucket is usually up on the front deck...

Depending on the brand of boat you have, there should be a rigging tube or channel coming from the console to the bow panel. Should be easy to catch a lead behind the panel. If not, you can tap the nav light wires up front and use the nav light switch to turn it on and off. Those wires only run the lights when they're plugged in the sockets. Those wires will run any other appliance off that nav switch as well, you just have to turn the switch on for the power.

    Default Minnow bucket trouble

I had a bait shop for a few years and we would have problems with minnows dying this time of year and I was told it is due to the stress of them spawning as well. We would always clean our tanks out with diluted simple green and rinse them well. I cleaned them once a week!! All 7 of them !! Don't miss that at all Also make sure you don't have any sunscreen or insect repellent on your hands , I've lost an entire tank full of minnows due to someone's kid sticking their arm down in it to play with the little fishes and momma just sprayed them down with bug repellent!!!

Yep. I keep a bar of Ivory in my tackle bag. Once I have all the lines out I wash my hands before handling the minnows.
Another subject that you should know that I hear a lot of. My dies are rusting. My rely is, did you wash your hands before starting?
