Crappie.com member Foxtrot offered to take me trolling for crappie for my first time. We arrived at the Lake with no name around 3:00pm. We fished until dark and managed one small striper and two good Crappie.
Many thanks Foxtrot, for showing me a different way of crappie fishing. l hope to get to experience this again in he near future.
MO' MONEY thanked you for this post
Yep! Let's see, 8 trolling rods @65= $520, 4 spyder loks @120= $480, 1 ipilot @$1200, minner buckets, bubblers, hooks, lines, etc $400 That ought to get you started, Millenium seats later. Crank baits later.![]()
You also will need a good umbrella for summer trolling. Lots of deep cycle batteries, Bandit Lures, line reader reels, top of the line fish finder's. Taxes will be a pretty lick on all that stuff. Wow after thinking about all that money I have spent on fishing myself...it hurts a little. Oh well we have to pay the fiddler when we dance and have a good time...Good luck to you.
I figure he can weasel his way to get all that at a lot better price.
Wow! Nice catch.
Be safe and good luck fishing
