Went Sun to Penny, and river is up where it needs to be. It was muddy, and current moving pretty good but the fish did not care. Kept 15 between me and my nephew, but caught alot more. 1/8 white roostertail, and Small white jerk bait did the trick. We got that rain Monday evening probably pushed the water up even more.

Sorry for the lack of reports this past week. Today is the 1st time I have been in about a week. Plenty of fish are still around and hungry. I fished for about 2 hours this afternoon and caught around 15. Majority were on the rooster-tail but I did catch 2 on a tiny pop r. I have been waiting for the top water bite to turn on. Hopefully it will get better this weekend. Fish are still way up in the river. Should be able to keep catching for another few weeks.

I fished Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I was skunked Friday and Saturday I only caught 4 small males. Sunday was a different story. I hit the river around 5pm and fished till almost dark. It was non stop the entire time. I caught my limit of 25 in about 45 min. It was crazy. Not another person in sight. The top water bite is in full swing. They would not touch a rooster tail or jerk bait. I have some pictures I will post once I get them off my phone. Hopefully these fish will hang around for a few more weeks.

Looking good Buzz, I have been on the crappie bite last week. But will be transitioning to the WB bite this week if I can. Work, work, work but I can not complain, well I can but who will listen

I was waiting for you to say something. LOL I have a few guys at work that have been begging me for some fish. Needless to say they were very happy to see the cooler in my office this morning.

Went down to Penny after work yesterday. Water is crystal clear,
and fish were biting pretty good. Caught 18, kept 10
Used a combination of small jerk bait(2 inch), and roostertail 1/8oz
Pic of 2 largest fish, one of them a 16 incher
