Niven's is as good as any place to put in. Some crappie are close to the banks and other as to what I'm getting are out in 20 ft. of water or more. In Torrance yesterday, we looked at it before coming in to Ebenezer, we saw fish in 15 to 25 foot range. Scattered and cruising waiting for that magic moment and they were farther back in the creek. I'm sure you'll get some crappies in Nivens longlining or tight lining or better yet casting with a cork to the bank will produce too! It is suppose to be a good day tomorrow. Hope you find them where ever you decide to go. I'm not going to Wylie and be in those competition guys way.

I would launch at big Allison to stay out of traffic areas there you could catch fish.
