After all these 3lb fish come out of Grenada and Sardis this year, pressure will be back off washington

All of these lakes get a TON of pressure. Heck, just try to find a parking spot on a Saturday at the ramps. When the crappie populations go down and big fish are being caught elsewhere, the pressure will move and give them a few years to bounce back

6 or 8 years ago things started to change. Each lake would get the same amount of pressure year end and year out. The bad years were due to bad spawns and low water. Now it's gotten to where u can't tell a soul not even your wife u caught some fish. Cause people come out of the woodworks. I agree with what your saying mo money but it shouldn't be that way. I go fishing n the same places when I'm actually fun fishing whether or not it's producing world record stringers or not producing a thing. I like fishing, and I like trying to figure them out. The whole outdoor world is going in the direction of instant gratification. I hope we can somehow get turned around and start going fishing to enjoy the woods and water...not catching limits for bragging rights.

We really should have more regulation. Food for thought: All jigs, cranks, and hooks should be snipped off behind the barb-Some waters will designated residents only-Crappie season shall be closed from February 15 thru end of April-While not under way all fishermen must wear blind folds-Base all fishery policy on if a the opossum saw his shadow or not

Poverty Point in north louisiana same thing.. its one of my favorites small lakes..but i catch and release every fish..i live in the south where numbers of fish aren't a problem. the marsh is vast and nearly impossible to fish out..plus within 20 min. i can catch limits of specs and redfish. so when i travel, i am for letting them all go..i can have a replica made of any trophy fish i catch..i have fished some of the miss. lakes also, and practice catch and release.... not my waters, I'm just a guess and it's the right thing to do...wish more people would do the same..hope your lake bounces back..
