Well that's a good question. I'll try to answer that, but each lake will be a little different, but not much. Here they are in the channel, up some creeks, on flats, and some trash piles. The fish on the trash are holding there most of the day, the fish on the flats are chasing small bait balls after 9:00 am, after the bait is busting up in to the small balls, from their original big pods. We have been chasing the bait, with no pattern to them ( no way points ) just on the flats. If you do find fish on a pile of trash, they are holding there allday, or in till you wear the out. On other parts of the lake, the trash piles up some creeks are holding fish, we can hit way point to way point and call our shots with in 3 seconds of catching fish after going through them, lots of fun when you can tell your buddy, get ready about to catch some and double or triple up. Right now it's all about the water temp, and the style of fishing you plan on doing. Catching these fish this time of year is always a challenge, lots of graphing to find them, but when you do it's fun. After the crappie usa tournament this weekend, I'll be happy to take you out down here Mon, Tue,Wed, will have family and friends down after that for the weekend, and also have club tournament up a Weiss that weekend, but I'll be open any day after that. I'd be happy to take you out and we can put some fish in the boat, and talk a little about the little fishys , don't want to give to much info to all, just the members. You can always pm me, I 'll try to help the much I can. Happy hunting, they are getting close. Since Wednesday evening we have kept 260, a tough grind, but getting my buddies freezers filled up for them.
