Since you decided to bring up my company name
the problem for us mold makers is that we can never please everyone no matter how much we try . Right now is a busy time for most of us and keeping up to production levels is near impossible let alone trying to keep up to what new stuff people want .
I was asked about lam plate while designing the new mold , lam plate was done , not good enough yet , i was then asked for a tail mold , I said one was coming in the future . After numerous emails and other venues I found it easier to say a tail is not likely to happen , simply because I don't like to feel rushed to create anything and I won't if I'm pushed . Anyone who knows me knows that when i say something is coming then I usually don't waste my time doing so , but my weeks are full and sliding new stuff in isn't so easy .

Big B one of the companies you mentioned does not do customs as he was asked by several folks. He doesn't have time. Curt k I stated just what you said no tail mold in future, correct? Never said anything else but what's been stated. Glad all you guys are busy. I think half of what we buy now days is from China, guess Ukraine will be added now. Btw his prices are competitive with most.

Was just trying to help. I only have two custom molds. They was both made by lakeside molds.
Thinking about doing another one I contacted Ultra molds because they currently carry something similar.

I said what I've said
as it stands , there is a tail mold available for the 2" and one for the 3" will be available when I have time and decide to get it machined . I have a lot of customers who I talk to daily and ultimately majority rules , so it's a go .
Your statement in another thread about being held hostage is a pretty unfair statement to make and we certainly aren't out to victimize our customers . We can't keep up every single persons desires when we are making production products . No company can . If enough people want it then it gets done , plain and simple

I always say "support those that support us", plus I also like "Made in the USA". I know it's a free country but I felt I just had to throw that out there.

That will be a game changer curt when a tail mold comes out for the 3 inch bait.
