Personally I would be careful as he seems to have no problem copying anything on the market. At least with the US machinists like Leonard at *********s you can be sure that when you have a mold made for you he isn't going to copy it and sell it to anyone else.

Sure hate to go elsewhere guys but to get molds made I guess I will venture out as can't find any one willing to make a bait mold and a tail cavity mold.

That being said what would keep someone from taking one of your baits and sending it to this guy to copy. Just saying!

Crappieplasticm - won't make it due to a copyright or just too expensive to make? If you paid enough I don't see why *********s or others wouldn't make it for you.

Big B - It wouldn't stop them - but, look out if they try and sell them.

Fatman I agree with you. Just pointing out that nothing is safe. If you want a certain mold with a tail mold. Lots of mold makers that will be more than happy enough to do it. Do-it and Enforcer will not do customs but can think of 3 or 4 just off top of my head that will do it. Two in Texas one in Louisiana and of course BJ's.

I had a guy just this week, ask me to rip off a custom mold I made. Obviously the answer was no. At the same time he could go elsewere, For me, I just don't rip off custom molds regardless of who makes it first, Now if its a commercial bait, its a different story. There is a big difference in getting us mold makers to make you a mold with a tail mold for you custom, and trying to get us to make you the same mold at do it sand cast pricing. I honestly do not recall the OP ever asking me, If you can get the Ukraine guy to make it for you cheap, By all means go for it. I test shoot my custom stuff, it don't leave my shop if it doesn't shoot to expected standards, Lots of guys can machine molds. Machining them so they don't dent, don't leave vent nipples, the halves line up etc, is what you pay a good mold maker for. Just my take on your post.
