You'll catch fish. Last year was good but not great. 2015 was the best in 20 years. They jack around with water levels so much it really screws up the spawn some years. Look at your map - go back to where Flat Creek forms a "T". Turn left and start fishing. Flats all back thru there where they gather up that time of year. Follow the contours. I'd start at 8' and go from there. There'll be boats back there - do what they're doing. Pretty clear to lightly stained water most of the time. Small baits, 2" grubs, 1/24 oz jigs. No heavier than 6 lb test. Must have some chartreuse on it. My go to bait is electric chicken. I'm going tomorrow for the first time in 3 months. Hope the old boat still floats.
