I have a 24 Volt 80 lb.Terrova with spot- lock and really like it. 2015 model if I recall correctly. The new 2017 model is crazy expensive. More so if you get the Ilink that pairs it to your compatible Humminbird fishfinder.

So I just went on Minn Kota's website and built a brand new Powerdrive 55 lb 54" motor with I-pilot. The MSRP for that exact one was $1099.00. Is that pretty reasonable for that model? My boat is only a 17' bass tracker so I don't need anything too crazy. My main desire is the anchor/spot lock feature.

My bet would be WiFi, eliminates the need for network cables and such.

Look for a used terrova, you will be a lot happier.

I fished with a mk terrova for a couple years. It was a good trolling motor. Recently got a new boat and put the new ultrex on it. Mk hit the nail on the head with it. The anchor feature on it is like nothing you will see. Fishing by my self I will nose into the wind hit anchor and shoot docks off the back of the boat or just walk to where I need too. 5-25mph wind I promise you it will stay put. Best money I have spent.

Check Cabela's catalog for a factory reconditioned Terrova. I bought one in 2015, 80 lb, I-Pilot, built in U-2. Same warranty as new. Came in new factory packaging. Really couldn't tell it wasn't brand new. Has worked perfectly and it gets used hard. As best I remember it was $1,179. I'll never go back to foot control. Spot lock works good but not great in really high wind.
