My Jig color was Blue thunder and Bluegrass followed with a Green / Chartruse Tied jig with a spinner under the head from Taiser Jigs with the fire Tail, I got them at the Last Years D'Arbonne Gathering... should be great Long Lining

That is a fine mess of fish there. Congratulations!

I made a similar chain setup but have never used it. If I guess my thinking is "if it's that windy, I'm not going fishing." I HATE the wind. Good job of adjusting tactics and figuring them out.

I went to Cypress Saturday. Everyone was using drift socks but me. I tied my anchor line to the rear and tossed it in. I was spider rigging. Everyone was drifting and motoring back upwind about three passes to my one. Next time the wind is supposed to be that stout, I think I'll take a stack of different weights and find the right combo to give me the drift speed I want. The anchor was a little slower than I preferred, but the guys with drift socks were going way too fast for my preference.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, unless you fish for a living.

The wind was coming out of the South, It set up a Current pushing north. When the wind slowed some, the current would reverse and it kept the Shad layer confused. I was looking at Drift socks as letting the Boat move to Fast but Long Lining the Boat speed is between .3 To .5 MPH which is Flying low....
