with all the wind we have been having, I wanted to do something different other than using a drift sock. Anhcors pin you down and fishing makes you want to go home. I took a 20 foot section of old Chain, and installed a Cast Iron Window Weight from Grandpaws old house. Then Tied 30 Foot of Rope on the Chain. MPH winds. Tied to the Side of the Boat, it would swing from side to side in 23 foot of water. Fishing 16 feet deep the Lines trailed like long linining. When the wind blew Harder we moved about 10 feet to fish new water. we used the Trolling motor to control the drift. Arriving at the lake at the Port about 10 am the Morning bite was over. We Tipped the Jigs with Minnows. Bro Caught 4 before I had a bite. Every couple of hours someone would catch a fish. We had one little spot that Crappie would bump the minnow. I throwed a marker when two fish hit at the same time. Between 3 and 4 Pm I caught more than 10 at the Bouy. When we decided to leave, the fish were still biting. When we got home the total count was 25 crappie with no dinks!!!

I fish 7 days a week; some days for fish, everyday for men.
