    Same wire I used. I went the cheap route one time. Lasted a season, that's it. Rewired using this a couple or 3 years ago and zero problems since

    8 would work but when I rewired my boat wasn't much difference in price of 6 so I went with 6

    For about the same money, it's a No Brainer. 6 it is!!!

    one more question now...since I ordered 6 guage wire does my trolling motor connector have to be 6 guage or can it be 10? I already have one thats 10
