Congrats to the winners! Had a fun day. Ricky had one of his best days ever fishing. We caught 65 fish or better. Lots of small ones. Mostly crappie. Missed 1st by 4/10 of an ounce. Even if you can't win it's fun knowing you can be a contender. It was great seeing the gang. Can't wait to do it again.
Finally got the boat out and broke it in good. Plenty of slime for the first real trip in it. Old boat provided a good haul for sure. Still got a few bugs to work out but it did its job without complaint. First trip for me in two years and good to see I still can catch crappie. It's like I fell right in from where I left off. Like riding a bike I guess. Wish a few more guys could have made it. Was a great day, about the best weather for this bash that we have ever had and everybody had a great time. Except for the one yahoo that swamped Jim B. What an idiot.CF
