I accidently stumbled on to the bobber stop as a depth gauge recently after removing a bobber.
I think I might have found another use for those snap on bobber stops.

Ya know, I've always heard that crappie "feed up". I agree, sometimes. Other times I've caught some pretty big crappie crawling a marabou Roadrunner along the bottom.
As far as how big a cat you can catch goes, if it moves a cat will eat it. Don't make no difference as to size of a jig to a cat. I've caught them on big musky inline spinners and tiny 1/32 oz. tubes.

What about putting the weight on the bottom with the jig or jigs on droppers above?
