It is looking like the weather is going to allow me to fish tomorrow.

Looks like ham to me. We have a lot of them here also. I trap more than I shoot

If you get to many I will gladly take some off your hands. I certainly don't mind butchering.

Josh, have you used any hair off that beast to tie some jigs?

Crappie were small, so shad under a balloon sounded good. Got a mess of channels this size. Didn't have any grandkids to help catch fish or more importantly to CARRY fish. Took two trips to carry the fish that 3/4 mile hike back to the truck.

You need to get with some of your deer hunting buddies for some buck tail if you like tying hair jigs. It would be much easier than shaving a wild pigs but for material . I'll save you a few buck tails next season. You can dye them what ever color you like.

One of the side benefits of fishing is the sunsets. This was taken a week or so ago, when balloon fishing. You can see a rod in the middle of the pic.

What's the trick for catching walleye here? I've always heard it's a great walleye lake but have never caught any. I'm boatless so usually just fish the dam. Figure this year I'm gonna get serious and figure them out being I'm a mile away and my son is old enough to fish on his own now.
