Yep, peanut oil is awesome but not good in a big group

no problem canola oil works too. you would think a guy who's been a nurse practitioner for 25 years would think of that. i cook for big groups pretty regular but its always the same big group. you could fry em in motor oil and it wouldn't hurt that bunch.

LOL, no problem at all

I use Clear Fry, 4 1/2 gallons $20. About as cheap as you can find.
Rice oil would be the best, 1 gallon $35 online price.
I'll check at an AR co-op next trip over there.

I reserved site 17 at Yoccna Ridge from Oct. 11th thru October 18...This will be my fall camp..there will be NO big meal, No door prizes, and NO raffles....There Will be a week of fishing, eating well, and camping..Hope to see some of you then...Good luck with your camp
