Crappie bed / crappie condo question
What are the rules on state park lakes and Federal waters in Mississippi on putting out Crappie beds? I was thinking of making some out of PVC but wasn't sure what the rules are.

Call the field office at the lake your wanting to put the structure in at and they can advise. Habitat days are coming up they may tell you to bring it down and plant it, enjoy some free food and fellowship on the government for a change...

I don't know the rules of state lakes.
The COE wants to use natural materials. For habitat days you meet up at a location at 7 am for a little breakfast and a talking to about safety and their rules. Drive to the habitat locations for a half day of work. They provide christmas trees, wood stakes, concrete anchors, post drivers and something to tie with. You can build new condos, add to older ones or rebuild older ones. Stop for lunch usually at 11:30 and some door prizes. I plan to be at all 4 lakes this year.
