Prior to my wife passing away in 2013 I was going out there on average once a month but since then I have only been out there 7 times in the last 36 months. Not sure if it's because that was were we took our last fishing trip together or just simply that it's so far away. I have moved and am 10 more miles away so the nearest ramp at Eastland is now 155 miles from my house. It is where I have caught my two biggest crappie so I should plan on getting out there this spring.

Unfortunately, many years ago they switched to metal plates but I have enough lead to last me a long time.
I'm starting to find the same problem with wheel weights. At least 50% and maybe more are no longer lead.

Heal up good Tap. My son just had the surgery about a year ago along with a broken collar bone and he was pretty miserable.

I had my right shoulder done and it's doing fine. Wish you luck healing and don't rush it as you may do damage for doing things early.

Hang in there you will get better. You will also be a believer in physical therapy, they can work magic. I have not been out since spring, pulled a rib out of the cartridge, could not lift rt arm. No surgery, no fix, has to heal on its own, if it ever does. jigs look nice. I am torn between hoping hooks will bend and pull off snags and holding larger fish.

Hard to believe it has been 3 years. I know Christmas will never be the same for you. Maybe a 3 pounder will put a smile on your face!
