Prior to my wife passing away in 2013 I was going out there on average once a month but since then I have only been out there 7 times in the last 36 months. Not sure if it's because that was were we took our last fishing trip together or just simply that it's so far away. I have moved and am 10 more miles away so the nearest ramp at Eastland is now 155 miles from my house. It is where I have caught my two biggest crappie so I should plan on getting out there this spring.
Heal up good Tap. My son just had the surgery about a year ago along with a broken collar bone and he was pretty miserable.
HOPE YOU HEAL UP SOON,HAD BOTH SHOULDERS DONE,THE RIGHT ONE HAD ALL LEGEMINT TORN OFF AND ARM WAS LOCK UP,DR SAID IT LOOK LIKE GROUND SAUAGE,PRAISE THE LORD BOTH ARE FIND NOW,WISH YOU THE BEST,DO NOT BE IN A HURRY,MORE SERIOUS THAN KNEE OR HIP SO SAY THE DR
Hope you heal up well G. Was looking forward to seeing you at NW. You have my cell number. If you decide to bring hot chocolate to the park, ring me up!!Jumping Jacks Icon
I had my right shoulder done and it's doing fine. Wish you luck healing and don't rush it as you may do damage for doing things early.
Hang in there you will get better. You will also be a believer in physical therapy, they can work magic. I have not been out since spring, pulled a rib out of the cartridge, could not lift rt arm. No surgery, no fix, has to heal on its own, if it ever does. jigs look nice. I am torn between hoping hooks will bend and pull off snags and holding larger fish.
Get well soon George!!! I need your help on setting up my side unit depth finder.
