    I have some trees I would like sink in green river do I haft to contact the kdfw before I do it had a friend tell me I need to call an get a permit? Any info is appreciated!

    I think your friend is right. At Cumberland if it has not changed it has different zones and a permit is needed for each zone.

    Don't know if they're still doing it now , on Cumberland the Corp use to supply anchor materials.
    They would even let you cut a big tree if you followed their rules.
    It hato be anchored to the stump
