Default breaking my back for crappie

well spent the last two days driving around picking up xmas trees from yards. have 59 so far. going to do more collecting this weekend. Thats a lot of trips considering I can only haul 5 at a time. Now I have to cement them all then haul to the lake. These crappie better appreciate my efforts. QUESTION how many you think I should dump at each location. I was thinking maybe 8? Three out each side of boat and one out the front and back. What you think?

Have you thought about drilling a hole through the base about a foot up, then running a copper wire through them and attaching one big weight to them, will help keep all together when they hit bottom. I've done it that way for years up north. Just gotta find some Christmas around here this weekend, trash pick up is on Monday here and I 've been looking but only have 1 so far. Good luck with everything, I'm sure they will pay off.

Looks like you'll have your own underwater tree farms!! I usually cut some of the branches out of them to open them up for the fish and then singe them so they last longer in the water before I sink them. Looks good.

Wow! That's a lot of work. Good luck and happy Crappie community development.
