That blue background really makes those fish stand out.
On the floats I always wonder what the skill level of fishermen is that leaves all the gear behind.

Today my Grandson Logan joined me for a trip. It was cloudy, foggy, misty, and nice fishing weather. Made me think of late winter (end of January and February). We ended up with 4 bass, 11 nice gills, and 4 chinks plus an assortment of colored things. Logan also caught a couple of yellow bass which we returned to the water. They really made his day start off good as they were the first 2 fish landed. He also had a nice 2 pound bass shake off as he was trying to get it into the boat. I had one sac hook up that shook off at the boat, it was the only one I saw today except for a 6 in one another fellow landed.
Logan and one of his yellow bass,
Some gills, chinks, and some bass filets.
Some of those colored things.
I just don't understand leaving a perfectly good float and jig hang in a tree or on a stump that is within reach, and we didn't pick them all up.

To my knowledge I've never seen a Yellow Bass. If we have then in SC I am unaware. Looks a lot like a White Bass that got dipped in yellow paint. Nice looking fish though, probably gave him a tussle too.
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
SeaRay they are much like white bass but smaller. The one in the picture is about as big as I've seen one here. They move in schools and you can catch a bunch if you run into one.

John that is a pan that was given to me at my first Larto gathering by a nice member named Carl. That was about 10 years ago. They are very handy and durable.

Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
One reason to have extra poles rigged and ready to fish --- when finding a hole that fish are Biting sometimes a line gets hooked on structure , so another pole gets pulled out to fish the spot rather than mess up the spot ---- some of those are from Break- Offs from someone that does not carry extra Tackle .... Most breakoffs mess up the spot because it disturbes the structure ----- Yall keep leaving free tackel for us CONSERVATIVES
Good job Mr. Gene. Merry Christmas to you and Mrs. Linda.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
