    I've fished in every weather imaginable but destroyed knees and other joint issues make it a miserable trip now. Laying on frozen ground for a couple of months a year as a snow goose outfitter finished it off.

    9 degrees and spitting snow here this AM. Saw a boat headed to the lake while drinking coffee with my fishing buddies at the greasy spoon an hour ago. Wasn't a duck boat either.

    At -2 I'm not even going out if I don't have to. I would go to southern La. if I thought it was warm and I could catch some crappie.

    I went with son deer hunting yesterday afternoon!!!!! I got so cold I wrote my will and ext it tocwife!!! He then shot 4 minutes later shot again!! I sezz to self Dang gotta dress a Deer!! He pulled up on sxs at Dark with 2 deer!! I did start Sweating g 50 minutes after getting home ad cleaning both deer!! They are now swinging in skinning tree!!!

    yeah at 66 I don't get out in the bad weather like I did when a kid of 50. unless the crappie were REALLY biting and then bundle up and go! he says who hasn't done it yet.

    I'm gonna give it a go tomorrow after lunch, let it warm up to about 35 first snagging last week I had to keep the ice cleared from the top two eyes on my rod.. I will try the big water tomorrow, seeing how winds will be doable for once in the last couple of weeks...
