If you are in Lakeland you can be on some of these lakes in about an hour. One of these days My son wants to go down that way and hit some of the pits.

The traffic and a couple of health issues keep me from venturing your way.

The pits in Mulberry and Bartow are doing much better with the specks, than the pits at Tenoroc in Lakeland. When the wind allows, I have been fishing some of the smaller Lakes in the area.

Way to go CD. Love the boat, reminds me of the Kemper family. They always fished out of old 14 foot game fisher boats with old 7 or 9.9 hp motors on them. They always caught the heck out of whatever they were fishing for. Learned a lot from them.
