    I sure have more confidence in swinging them in the boat now than I did before. My buddy is a bass tournament guy, he laughs at me when I tell him I do this, he calls it boat flipping em. I don't care what he calls it it works better for me than other methods I have tried.

    We made a road trip to Grizzly Jigs this summer and got a new Sam Heaton rod. I really enjoy using it.

    Nimrod can swing crappie in the boat no problem- recently seen him swing about 40. Looked like those flyin carp landin in his boat every other time i looked over there.

    I like both rods but the ozark tips are cheaper and stronger.

    To each his own, but for me there is "no air time for big crappie" They are in the net or have a net under them as soon as they hit the surface.
