I had issues with my old tm putting off RF noise, only happened at certain speeds on my Minnkota auto Pilot, not nearly as bad when I switched to fourtrex. tried running wires and new ground to front depth finder and filters, nothing noticeably fixed it, Have hds units front and back and haven't seen any interference between them, over 20 ft apart though

My transducers are 25 ft apart and I have the same issues. Like others I just put one on standby and the problem is solved. It seems I can't see the Helm depth finder from the trolling motor anyway so I'm not really loosing anything. The standby mode is great as you don't have to wait on the unit to boot back up when it is time to use it again. The frequency of the units don't seem to alter the outcome. Vertical lines on the screen due to conflicting signals.
