fished dripping springs dock yesterday and caught a basket full of 11/13 inch crappie,of course the wife caught the most and the biggest, lol!
had to visit the doc today to see how my broke foot is healing,he didnt give me good news, there was 0 new bone growth in the break,i broke it the 1st of oct so its off to a specialist next week..
in the mean time i got the boat ready for a trip to dripping springs in the morning i had the boat in this lake 1 time years ago and dont remember a thing about it except seeing some really deep water..
going to doodle sock some trees tomorrow with minnows and since i tie my own jigs ive got a million new colors to try.

i read where the state build some giant brush piles when they had the lake drained in 97 but i have no idea where there located other than the ones by the boat dock that are now sticking out of the water

if you look on bing map ground view and look south of the fishing dock along the bank there's a very large circular structure under water just off the bank, any one know what it is?

there's not a lot of posts about this lake so either not very many people fish it or its not a good lake,by the amount of standing timber in this place i would say its the best looking lake for structure i have ever seen!

i would like to hear some comments on this lake as far as the crappie fishing as well as cat fishing..brush pile locations and all your top secret places HAHA
