The fact you were able to fish on bottom for 5 hours and not get hung up is pretty doggone impressive. I'm gonna check these weights out.

Is that braided stainless steel hose with a swivel on the end? That is brilliant!

It is impressive. For the whole time I kept thinking I was going to hang up.....just a matter of time. Well it never happened. I am sure sooner or later I will get some hung up. I was fishing areas that I have fished many times....gravel....chunk rock.....grass. I have tried drop shot in same areas with round or tear shaped weights.....but I got hung up so much I would get frustrated and give up on it. I am really pumped about fishing deep using these weights. Last year at this time I would fish around mooring cells in 21 feet of water and fishing the Trout Magnet on a 3/32 ounce head took it a long time to get down there. Then once you start a retrieve with that, even though you keep it very slow it is going to lift off the bottom and out of the strike zone. I caught a lot of fish doing it that way but this is much better method for these deep Gills. Going back this week so will give another report.
