I've never limb lined before ,but that looks simpler than the disastrous trotline I tried to set.

These are the lines I use I have 75 the carabiner allows for quit set up the hook allows for easy fish removal. I can use a lead if needed they are 9 feet long counting hook. I use a slip knot to set at depth I want. They are designed for easy use, here in South Carolina you can not set out until 1 hour before sun set. I can put the lines in minus hook during the day then pre bait the hooks and start setting one hour before sun sets. Need to be removed one hour after sun rise so I can remove the hooks leaving the lines and still be legal because it is not a limb line without the hook. Also the hook system can be used on my trot lines as well. Dual system works for me.

Caught these on the August19th with rod/reel and bluegill heads not too far off the bank.
