Prayer Request Murray night time stripers

I have my grandson, Jeff, with me for a few days so we joined one of our buddies who also is named Jeff for some Striper fishing.
We got some live herring and hit the lake about 7pm.

Jeffery manned two rods in the middle and also did a great job as our bait guy when we need to rebait the lines.
The fish were holding around 50 feet in 60 to 100 FOW.
We caught 4 nice fish, and we're on the all night but other than a couple of hits that did not get hooked, we could not tease them into biting. The 4 we kept averaged around 20" or better.

This is Jeff 2 counting down to the fish. The screen shot shows our bait in with the fish, but bites were slow.
We got in about 1am and I never thought to take a picture of the fish until after they were filleted and in the fridge.

At least Jeff got to go and experience deep water fishing for stripers, maybe next time he will have his own bait boy. Did Jeff catch any? Great pictures and report! Thanks Ray!

Grady I thought about it but it is hit and miss. We caught 10 a few weeks ago then Uncle Remus came down and we caught 2 fish. They were lighting up the scope last night but hard to trigger a bite.
There are excellent facilities and several good restaurants we could meet greet eat and fish. I just hate to have a bunch of guys come down and the fish be bad.
If y'all decide you want to try I'll be glad to do t.

By the way I realize us old poots forget stuff but I am pretty sure I didn't put the praying hands at the front of the title. Since only a moderator can change other people's post, my list of suspects is really short.

Ray that is what makes fishing interesting you never know if they will feed or not. We drive up there and don't catch any so they can drive down here and not catch any right. Put a day out there and see who is interested. I will be there and can fish another 2 in my boat. Glad you and the jeffs got to catch a couple.
