I would start by trying the piles you just put out. They seem to like piles with green leaves on them this time of year. I like to let a new pile sit about a week before I fish it but have caught fish off them the very next day.

Don what time would you want to get started on a Friday? I could probably get off by 6:30pm

I plan to give the new piles a go later this week. They were mostly from a maple tree with green leaves that blew down in one of the storms.

You don't need to be on the water much before 7. by then most of the water lice have quit and it starts to cool a little. Don, Lake World is closed till Thursday. We went to better bait shop beside the station at Jakes Landing. We ordered and paid for 3 dozen and I swear the girl put 50 or 60 in our well. They close at 7 by the way.

Had the same experience this past sunday at Neds, awesome bait shop!
