    Default Tree down

1 trunk from a 4 trunk tree went down while I was at work. No damage other then a smooshed wire fence. This ought to be fun. Already got my chainsaw chain pinched and stuck in the dern thing.

Get some wedges and use your noggin, get hurt easy with that kinda crap. A cable and a block and tackle aint a bad idea either if its in a bind.

Yeah.....was cutting a few quick limbs off the end across the fence and didn't grab my wedges. Will get all the goodies rounded up for the cutting tomorrow.

Like Rees said get a plastic wedge. I use one when cutting through trees to help with the pinching problem. Just cut about half way then put in plastic wedge ln and as you finish cutting it pinches the wedge and not your chain saw bar. Plastic wedge is so if saw does kick back it won't harm chain like a metal wedge would.

I'll let you cut it up and take it if you want. Have to haul by hand to the road as it's way too wet to park close.
