The triton will probably get better gas milage, because it is better powered to match the hull. Both nice looking.

I want good gas mileage. Thats very important to me. I dont know how aluminum boats ride as I've never had one. I'm told fiberglass rides better and handles rough water better?
First boat is a Triton 2011 with a 115 opti-max motor. 14500k. 17 foot. I like this boat. But its a 2 1/2 drive to go see it.
This boat is a 2010 Nitro x-5 with a 90 Opti-max. I like this boat except the price. 15k

I'd say the red Triton. But both are way expensive. Must be in mint condition, I'm guessing.

Triton for sure better quality boat. I have read Nitro have been know to have problems.
On aluminum boats the greater degree dead rise and weight of the boat will give a better ride. War eagles tend to have a larger degree dead rise.
Never buy a boat till you talk to BRM on the Ar & Miss. Board! Knos more about boats than any body. Big River Marine Memphis.

If you go with a Mercury, make sure it is an Optimax....I would only consider Merc or Yamaha...
