    First time painting cranks and used some matte paint,do you think they will shine when I clear them with the devcon 2.Had to order some devcon2 cause I couldn't find the 30 min local.When yall clear do you do the bill also or just the baits,thanksMrdux

    That's a good start, Jamie. Yes, the devcon will give them a good gloss. I really don't know if the gloss makes that much difference. All my baits painted with acrylic paint are matt to dull before epoxy. I use blue painter's tape to tape off all my bills before I primer the blanks with opaque white. I use a scalpel to cut along the tape to bill seam to make sure I don't pull the paint/epoxy loose. I've painted a few baits and bills. Couldn't tell any difference other than it gives the bait a larger profile.

    It can be and finding storage options for 4-500 different baits can be expensive.

    Looks great. I take pics of most of my new patterns so I can duplicate them after I lose all the ones I just painted.
