Thinking about using pennzoil in my yamaha 2 stroke, its much easier to find here in town and about 3rd the cost, cost is not really the problem but the availability. Whats the thoughts on this and oh by the way, I still have yamalube in my tank in boat.
not wanting to sacrifice motor over cost, just sick of having to pay 2 prices at boat dealer in Pickwick

Walmart has it but not in gallons, like to buy it that way and keep in my boat. I may try the Pennzoil gallon, not synthetic just regular. Although in my reading today, I have found that most say that the synthetic smokes less but its not a problem that I have, mine smokes when first crank of the day but then not at all.
I had to go all the way down to Counce TN (Pickwick) last year to get the gallon of oil and it was $50 for it
Some of the auto parts stores sell it.

From every report I have read in the last few years on oil comparisons all say yes to penn syn and no to penn regular. Take that for what it's worth to you.

I just ordered a Yamaha oil change kit (oil, filter, and plug seal) from Amazon for my F90 four stroke......Had what I needed at a decent price and free shipping. While I was looking they had your Yamalube for two strokes in quarts, gallons, and two and a half gallons.
